Adventure Gardens Mini Golf… hidden gem of fun for the whole family

Nicely landscaped with waterfalls, streams, hills and rock formations, Richfield's Adventure Gardens Mini Golf is nestled under the trees next to Veterans Memorial Park and near the pool pavilion. Whether you are looking for something to do with you kids, grandkids or a date night out, this is an 18 hole mini golf course that is fun for all ages.

You would never guess the beauty of this course driving by the sign at 6335 Portland Avenue south of Crosstown Highway 62… it's definitely worth a stop. I love the thoughtfully designed grounds with water features and shade trees… and also love hearing the airplanes overhead as they land and take off from nearby MSP airport.

The course has 10 holes accessible to people with mobility impairments and kids under age 5 are free. Rent a bike for a ride or stop in at Maltees for a cool treat and let the kids play on the playground when you are done. Open summers 9 am to 9 pm Monday-Friday, until 10 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Richfield is a first-ring suburb on the south side of Minneapolis, also bordering Edina and Bloomington. It has easy access to all parts of the metro and is close to the Mall of America, Southdale and the airport… and also home of the metro area's first municipal nature center
