Location! Location! Location! Eden Prairie is a suburban community of approximately 62,000 people located in the Southwest corner of Hennepin County, Minnesota. The city is in a setting of rolling wooded hills and picturesque lakes and creeks. Eden Prairie is about 18 miles form downtown Minneapolis and 20 miles from downtown St. Paul. The Mpls/St. Paul Int’l airport is just 10 miles east of the city. Highlights of the community include approximately 6,000 acres of land devoted to parks and open space. Over the years Eden Prairie has received numerous awards for parks, school district and place to live. The is a variety of housing units, and a dynamic business community.

Eden Prairie is set in an area of rolling hills amid a beautiful wooded landscape, lakes and creeks, Eden Prairie is proud to have devoted 6,000+ acres to parks and open space. The city has 37 parks, 15 conservation areas, 7 historic sites, 6 special use areas and 70 miles of trails. Its parks have shelters, swimming beaches, boat launches, ballfields and ice skating rinks with warming houses.

Festivals and arts opportunities include Winter Wonderland in February, Schooner Days in June, 4th of July celebration, Corn Feed in August, Sun Bonnet Days in September and Octoberfest.
